Deck the halls this weekend with holiday kickoff events in every Valley town.

Dec. 6

Light Up Duvall: Duvall’s annual tree lighting will take place in downtown Duvall starting at 6 p.m. It is recommended to line up on Main Street before 6 p.m. to see Santa and Mrs. Claus “light up Duvall.” Then, join them at Depot Park for the tree lighting, holiday performances and photos.

Dec. 7

Snoqualmie Winter Lights: Celebrate the holiday season with Snoqualmie’s annual tree lighting at Railroad Park. There will be live music, selfies with Santa, an ice carving demo, drinks and treats. Event is from 4-6 p.m..; tree lighting is at 5:30 p.m. Go to visitsnoqualmie.com for more information.

North Bend Holly Days: The North Bend Downtown Foundation is hosting its annual winter festival and tree lighting in downtown North Bend. There will be a tree lighting ceremony led by Mayor Mary Miller, as well as s’mores, hot cocoa, live entertainment, free photos with Santa and crafts. Fall City Festival of Lights: Join Fall City for its annual holiday event, presented by the Live Gray’s Way Foundation. At 5 p.m., Pete Nelson of Nelson Treehouse will cut the ribbon at the grand opening of Aroma Coffee Co.’s new public treehouse. At 6 p.m., there will be a tree lighting ceremony at Totem Garden. The evening will also include a silent auction, crafts, food trucks, live music and Santa photos. Event ends at 9 p.m. For more information, go to fallcitydays.org.

Christmas in Carnation: Carnation’s Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Christmas event at Tolt Common Shelter in downtown Carnation. There will be photos with Santa, a reading from Santa, a vendor village, food and beverages. Event starts at 2:30 p.m.; tree lighting is at 4:30 p.m.; event ends at 6 p.m. See carnationchamber.org for more information.

Miller’s Carnation afterparty: After the Carnation tree lighting, Miller’s is hosting a free afterparty with live jazz music. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.; music starts at 5 p.m.

Works from the heART opening: Works from the heART, a new makerspace in Fall City, will have its grand opening from 4-7 p.m., with a ribbon cutting at 5 p.m. Stop in during the Fall City Festival of Lights to learn more about the makerspace’s classes and offerings.

Dec. 8

Miller’s Holiday Hootenanny: Miller’s in Carnation is hosting a holiday art show with handmade art, gifts, decor, face painting and live music. Event is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; music starts at 1:30 p.m. at 4597 Tolt Ave.

Remlinger Farms Christmas show: The Fabulous Orchids, a Seattle-based event band, will perform 1960s and 1970s hits, led by three female vocalists. The concert at the Remlinger Farms brewery is free, open to all ages and from 5-7 p.m. Located at 32610 N.E. 32nd St., Carnation.

Dec. 11

North Bend ugly sweater party: The North Bend Downtown Foundation is hosting an ugly sweater party, plus a white elephant gift exchange, at Volition Brewing, 112 W. North Bend Way. Guests are asked to come wearing their tackiest holiday sweater and bearing a quirky gift, like an item from home they’d like to regift. Event is open to all and is from 5-7 p.m.
