Summer fun continues in the Valley with Festival at Mount Si.

Aug. 8

Summit at Snoqualmie live music and biking, 5-7 p.m.: The Summit Bike Park will have Berms and Bands Aug. 8, 15, and 22. All are invited to bike some laps and enjoy free live music on the Silver Fir Plaza. Visit summitatsnoqualmie.com to see the full line-up.

Community ice skating, 6-8 p.m.: Sno-King Ice Arenas is partnering with the city of Snoqualmie and SnoValley Chamber of Commerce to host Frozen Fun Fest at Sno-King Ice Arena in Snoqualmie. The event includes free skating and skate rentals, music, games, photo opportunities and refreshments.

Aug. 9

U-pick sunflowers opening day, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Opening day for the u-pick sunflower fields at Sunflower Sisters at Tollgate Farm in North Bend. Fill a cup with sunflower stems for $25 or buy two cups for $45. If you don’t plan to pick, an entrance fee of $10/person will be collected. This is not an event for professional photographers.

Oxbow Farm restoration work party, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Oxbow Farm and Conservation Center in Carnation is hosting another restoration work party. Volunteers can help plant native species, remove invasive plants and promote resilient landscapes. Registration is required and can be done by filling out a volunteer application at oxbow.org.

Duvall Music Crawll, 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.: The Duvall Music Crawll, each Saturday in August, takes concertgoers to four different locations, each with different performances. The crawl starts at Grateful Bread from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and continues at McCormick Park from 1-4 p.m., The Grange from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and Duvall Tavern from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Duvall SummerStage 25th anniversary, 1-8:45 p.m.: Join the city of Duvall at McCormick Park day of live music to celebrate 25 years of the SummerStage concert series. Line-up includes Elizabeth Hill and the Valley Folk, Stephanie Anne Johnson, Drew Martin, SWAY and Austin Jenckes. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.

Summit at Snoqualmie concert series, 3:30-5:30 p.m.: The Summit’s summer concert series is back Aug. 9, 16 and 23. Enjoy live music in the Summit West plaza. Visit summitatsnoqualmie.com to see the full line-up.

Aug. 8-10

Festival at Mount Si: The annual Festival at Mount Si in North Bend, produced by Morgan Henley Presents, is back. The weekend includes a parade, family activities, food and arts vendors, a 5k, fireworks and lots of live music. For the full schedule, visit festivalatmtsi.org.

Aug. 10

Summit at Snoqualmie car show, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: All types of vehicles and their owners are welcome to join the second annual Cruise the Crest. There will be a car meet-up and live music. Participation and attendance are free.

Aug. 12

Free marketing masterclass, 8:30-10:30 a.m.: The Snoqualmie Valley Record will host a marketing workshop at Snoqualmie Inn. The interactive session will teach businesses best digital practices for online visibility, the evolving consumer path to purchase, the latest digital marketing trends, affordable solutions to get discovered and more. Aug. 14

Mini clay food sculptures class, 4:30-7 p.m.: Pepper Allphin of Art by Pepper will teach attendees how to make mini food sculptures out of polymer clay. Class is at North Bend Art and Industry’s Center for Creativity. Skill level is beginner; class is for those ages 10 and over. Tickets are $60 and can be purchased at northbendartandindustry.org.
