The Snoqualmie Tribe invites the community to attend guided tours of the newly completed ‘Traditional Knowledge Trail’ and ‘Rain Garden Landscape’ located on Snoqualmie Tribe lands, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m, Saturday, June 8. See ‘Go outside’ for locations.

The Traditional Knowledge Trail is a five-year restoration project on reservation land, recently completed with interpretive signs about important plants along a creek-side, forested trail. The Rain Garden Landscape is a native plant landscape project with over 70 native plant species which serve to beautify and manage rainwater runoff at the offices of the Environmental & Natural Resources offices, located on the recently purchased Snoqualmie Hospital land.

All are welcome to learn about the importance of these plants for the tribe’s past  and present; and learn about their identification and landscape uses. Parking is limited at both sites so carpooling is encouraged. There will be a brief break for travel between sites, so bring a sack lunch if you plan to attend both tours.
