SLIDESHOW: Easter eggs-stravaganza in Snoqualmie, North Bend

At the sound of the siren, more than a hundred preschoolers were off and running Saturday, April 23, in North Bend, when Si View Parks hosted its annual Easter egg hunt, with help from the local Moose Lodge. “Pick up the eggs!” one mom had to remind her sprinting son, who seemed to forget why he was there for a few seconds. The next few fields over, the older children needed no reminders, as they swept the soccer fields clean of eggs in seconds.

Over in Snoqualmie, the visiting Easter Bunny signaled the start of the egg hunt, which organizers said was very well attended, thanks to sunny skies.

After the hunt was all over, Christopher and Kylie Pachuilo brought their baskets over to their dad, also a Chris, who was busy cracking open the plastic eggs and extracting the candy inside for them.

“It’s the best seven seconds in North Bend,” he said Chris.
