Snoqualmie Valley Arts Live (SVAL) is now accepting season ticket orders for the 2005-06 series that opens on Sunday, Oct. 23, with back-by-popular-demand Wylie & the Wild West. The crowd-pleasing, singing, yodeling cowboy has an enthusiastic fan base that stretches from coast to coast and beyond. SVAL is pleased to have him and his band as the opening performers for its 13th season.

All shows are on Sundays in the Mount Si High School Theater. The rest of the lineup includes a celebration of the holiday season on Dec. 11 featuring Harley Brumbaugh with his Horns-A-Plenty and other friends. The Chamber Opera Northwest offers a delightful mix of operetta, opera and an opera quartet on Jan. 29, 2006. Toe-tapping Gypsy swing played by an energetic group known as Hot Club Sandwich is scheduled for Feb. 26. The red hot, dynamic jazz group, the Jeni Fleming Trio, will close out the series on March 26.

SVAL is reducing season ticket prices for its “Lucky 13th” season. Regular admission for the series of concerts is now $55 (down from $65); seniors, $40 (from $50); and youth $20 (from $25). Tickets to individual shows go on sale Sept. 1. Send orders with a check and a note indicating the number of season tickets requested to SVAL, P.O. Box 293, Snoqualmie, WA 98065. Please consider adding a tax-deductible donation to the check total to help SVAL continue to present a rich mix of first-rate artists in its annual series. SVAL is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization.
