Local photographer exhibits work

Children in photographs make great works of art because they are completely candid, not afraid to be themselves and do things that are natural and uninhibited, says North Bend photographer Jill Weaver.

Children in photographs make great works of art because they are completely candid, not afraid to be themselves and do things that are natural and uninhibited, says North Bend photographer Jill Weaver.

Weaver will display her photographs of children in an exhibit called “Childhood Captured on Film” Sept. 19 through Oct. 30 at Pogacha of Issaquah, 120 N.W. Gilman Blvd. Her photos – both black and white and color – will show children, infants and families just being themselves in the outdoors, enjoying life and having a good time. Weaver’s work was recently shown at Bibo Coffee Shop in Snoqualmie Ridge and is in various private collections. View her work online at http://www.jillweaverphotography.com.
