How Green is My Valley? Snoqualmie to host ecology forum

Snoqualmie’s Sustainability Speakers Forum continues at 7 p.m. Monday, March 15, at City Hall, 38624 S.E. River St.

‘Planning a Community for our Children’ will focus on supporting healthy natural spaces, maintaining clean water, and providing local fresh foods for long-term sustainability.

Erick Haakenson, owner of Jubilee Farm in Carnation, will speak about organic produce. Other speakers include Ara Erickson of the Cascade Land Conservancy and Sandy Fischer who has worked on green neighborhood projects in Portland.

All Snoqualmie Valley residents and community supporters are welcome to come to one or all of five sessions.
