Free showings of ‘Power of Snoqualmie Falls,’ Saturday at North Bend Theatre

A documentary about Snoqualmie Falls will show several times at the North Bend Theatre, 10 and 11:20 a.m., 12:40 and 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 21 All showings are free and open to the public. The documentary is presented by Puget Sound Energy in celebration of the grand re-opening of the Snoqualmie Falls Power Plant and grounds. The film tells the history of Snoqualmie Falls and the construction of the world’s first hydroelectric plant built completely underground. It features fascinating stories about Snoqualmie Valley, Seattle, and the Northwest Region of the late 1800s.
