Food, glorious food: Last weekend for Snoqualmie Falls Forest Theater’s Oliver!

This is the final weekend for the Snoqualmie Falls Forest Theater 2013 production of "Oliver!" Based the Charles Dickens novel Oliver Twist and with music and lyrics by Lionel Bart, this story of a lonely orphan boy is a delight for all ages. Oliver’s misadventures begin with leaving the workhouse, working for an undertaker, falling in with pick-pockets and thieves, and finally finding a good home.

Based the Charles Dickens novel Oliver Twist and with music and lyrics by Lionel Bart, this story of a lonely orphan boy is a delight for all ages. Oliver’s misadventures begin with leaving the workhouse, working for an undertaker, falling in with pick-pockets and thieves, and finally finding a good home.

Musical numbers include such classics as “Food, Glorious Food”, “I’d Do Anything”, “Where is Love?”, “Consider Yourself”, “As Long As He Needs Me”, “Who Will Buy”, and “Reviewing the Situation”. Dickens’ memorable characters are brought to life: Oliver, the innocent and lonely orphan boy; Fagin, the kindly and slightly sinister con man; the Artful Dodger, the clever and witty pick-pocket; Mr. Bumble, the comedic pompous beadle of the workhouse; and many more.

Shows are at 2 pm and 7pm on Saturdays, and 2pm on Sundays. A barbecue dinner option is also available for purchase, with a choice of steak, chicken, or salmon, as well as other meal options.

Shows at Snoqualmie Falls Forest Theater are a magical experience, performed in a beautiful outdoor amphitheater located on 95 acres in Fall City. Enjoy views of Snoqualmie Falls and local wildlife, take a walk around the property on one of the trails, or simply relax in the outdoors.

Tickets may be purchased on the Snoqualmie Falls Forest Theater website or at the box office. Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for students and seniors, $10 for children and children ages 5 and under are free. Group rates are available for tickets. After the matinee performance, the theater offers a dinner of barbecue steak, chicken or salmon dinner for $18, vegetarian lasagna for $14, or a child’s hot dog for $5. Advance meal tickets are required. There is a short walk down to the theater from the parking area; transportation is provided for anyone in need.
