Folkrock musician to play at Shanty

The Shanty Tavern is hosting Wendy McDowell and her band at 9 p.m. Saturday, March 19. McDowell is a touring folkrock musician who recently moved to the area and this will be her first performance in North Bend.

The Shanty Tavern is hosting Wendy McDowell and her band at 9 p.m. Saturday, March 19. McDowell is a touring folkrock musician who recently moved to the area and this will be her first performance in North Bend.

To quote one review, “Picture this, Jefferson Airplane and the Eagles get their gigs mixed up, Don Henley and Grace Slick end up at the same place and decide to make the best of it.”
