The first-ever Mosaic Music and Arts Festival will be held at Tolt-McDonald Park in Carnation on Saturday, Aug. 7. The all-day event will start at 10 a.m. and continue until dusk. Some of the finest songwriters in the Northwest will be featured, as well as puppet shows, arts and crafts offered by local artisans and workshops for making various crafts, such as bird houses and hats. Take a turn at decorating an “art car” that will be painted by festival folks and raffled off at the end of the day. Food vendors will also be on hand providing a variety of yummy fair fare.
Tickets for the event are $10 for adults, $8 for students, $5 for seniors with children under age 10 admitted free. The festival is presented by Mosaic Productions.
