Fall City Arts to host community dance, makers meet-up and more in April

Fall City Arts is hosting several community events over the next two months.

Fall City Makers Meetup (April 5, May 3, and June 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Fall City Library)

  • Bring a project to work on and meet fellow creators in the community. Drop in anytime.

Finders Peepers: A vegan scavenger hunt (Saturday, April 8 with 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. time slots at Rooster Haus Rescue in Fall City)

  • A one-of-a-king scavenger hunt held at Rooster Haus Rescue. There will be plastic eggs to paint, coloring and crafts, vegan candy and storytime with the chickens. Tickets online at: roosterhaus.org/scavenger-hunt-2023.

Rubber Ducky Painting Party (April 15, 3-5 p.m. at the Fall City Library)

  • Fall City Arts will be painting designs on the historic Fall City Racing Ducks to be hidden throughout Fall City in the “Great Fall City Duck Hunt of 2023.” Ducking hunting season will open June 10, with 100 painted rubber ducks hidden throughout town.

Fall City Community Dance (April 16, 4-7 p.m. at the Fall City Masonic Lodge, 4304 337th Place Southeast)

  • The community dance will feature live music from Seattle-area band Rod Cook & Toast. Event is free with donations accepted for charity. A free dance lesson will held at 3:30 p.m.

Beaded Suncatcher Workshop (May 9, 5:30 p.m., at the Fall City Library)

  • Make a suncatcher for your home or garden. All materials supplied. Led by local artist Pepper Allphin (Facebook: ‘Art by Pepper’ Instagram: @pepper.allphin).
