The city of Snoqualmie is seeking musicians to participate in a summer series of “Music in the Parks.”

From bluegrass to country, jazz to classical, and pop to rock, the city is looking for family-friendly music of every kind.

These musical events will be free of charge to the public and will generally be on Sunday afternoons, although a set schedule has not yet been determined.

Concert locations are the Railroad Park gazebo in Historic Snoqualmie, Snoqualmie Community Park on Snoqualmie Ridge, and scenic Snoqualmie Point Park off Exit 27 on Interstate 90.

The city has limited funding available for this series. The number of bands or individual musicians scheduled to play will depend in part on the fee charged for performances.

Interested musicians and musical groups should complete the “Performing Artist Application” posted on the City website at www.cityofsnoqualmie.org; click “Departments | Parks & Recreation”.

For more information, call the Parks & Recreation Department at 425-831-5784.
