Carnation American Legion plans flag retirement on Flag Day; drop off flags at Carnation City Hall

The Carnation American Legion Post 199 and Boy Scout Troop 411 will conduct a retirement and destruction ceremony for American flags, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, Flag Day, at the Legion Hall.

Anyone with an American flag that needs to be properly retired and destroyed, is encouraged to drop flags off at Carnation City Hall, 4621 Tolt Avenue, before the ceremony. Carnation City Hall is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.
