Students in Snoqualmie Valley schools are on spring break starting Monday. But there’s no reason for them to be bored between classes. Si View Metro Parks has a variety of activities to keep them busy, including:
Si View Break Camp, April 8-12
Youth can come for a week of camp activities including games, crafts, swimming, a local field trip and more. Camp hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; extended care is available. Additional times are 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for no additional cost. Cost is $180 per week. Space is limited.
TRACS Break Camp, April 8-12
While school is out, join TRACS for a week of adventures with our camp for 5th through 8th graders. They will be going on local trips and having a good time at Si View Community Center. Camp hours are 9am-4 p.m.; extended care is available. Times are 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for no additional cost. $180/week. Space is limited.
Spring Break Hoops Basketball Clinic, April 8-9
This two-day clinic is filled with fun games, drills, and heavy competition for both recreational and travel league players. K-6th graders meet 9 a.m. to noon (cost $35) and 5-8th graders 1 to 4 p.m. ($45). Both camps are held at Chief Kanim Middle School. Space is limited, sign up early.
Spring Break Baseball Jazz Clinic, April 8-10
The smell of leather is nearing and spring is in the air. Join a three day clinic with Steve Goucher designed to work all aspects of baseball including throwing, field, pitching and hitting. For ages 9-14, 10 a.m. to noon at Chief Kanim Middle School. Cost is $75.
School’s Out Swim, April 11-12
Come splash at Si View Pool during spring break. Children younger than 6 must have a parent in water, within arms reach, cost is $2 kids/$3 adults.
On Thursday, April 11, 12:45 to 1:45 p.m.; Friday, Apr 12, 12:45 to 1:45 p.m., 5 to 6 p.m. ($1 swim), and 6 to 7:15 p.m. ($1 family swim).
