Ron Stettler of North Bend was so moved by Little Lion’s performance, he approached the local band’s singer and keyboard player, Madeline Wells, after her Community Stage performance with Parker O’Leary, and told her so.

Stettler is a fan of North Bend’s free downtown Block Party since year one, and was thrilled with how it went in year six.

“Once a year, we get to see the best in the Valley,” says Stettler. “And we are blessed with that.

“Every year,” he’s been here to check out the community events and performances. “It gets better and better.”

The block party rolled from early afternoon to the late hours on Saturday, July 19, filling North Bend Way with family games, animals, vendors and plenty to see and do.
