Austin Jenckes to perform July 29 benefit concert for new concert stage in Duvall

Friends of Duvall Cultural Commission are fundraising for a new mobile stage for Duvall, and Austin Jenckes is helping the cause, as the musical entertainment at a dinner concert, 7:30 p.m. July 29, at the Christel Haven Equestrian Center, 26900 NE 145th St., Duvall. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Jenckes cut his performance teeth on the Duvall stage by playing at Teen SummerStage, and later at SummerStage, and now the singer/songwriter is back to perform his Americana pop style of music to help rais funds for the new stage.

When asked to play at a benefit concert, Jenckes answered, “I know how important music is to the Valley and I want to do whatever I can to help.”

Since moving from Duvall to Nashville and competing on NBC’s The Voice in 2013, he has been performing and writing songs. His powerfully soulful voice is unrivaled and his craft as a songwriter continues to evolve as he writes new music for himself and for other artists, including country music star Lee Brice.

Jenckes co-wrote and sings the song “This is My World” for the recent Assassin’s Creed movie trailer and is working on a new album. For more information about Jenckes’ music, visit http://www.austinjenckes.us.
