William Henry Taylor Park (the North Bend Depot Park) transformed into a vibrant open-air art festival for the third annual “Art Off the Rails” festival held June 21. This festive event once again brought a burst of creative energy to the Snoqualmie Valley, drawing artists, art enthusiasts and creative souls.
The festival showcased a diverse array of artistic expressions, from intricate pottery and unique jewelry to captivating paintings and books, and so much more. Visitors explored over 50 booths, each brimming with the talent of local artists. Beyond the visual spectacle, attendees also enjoyed multiple creative art projects. The sounds of local musicians filled the air, complementing the creative atmosphere, and various food trucks provided delicious options for everyone.
“We were incredibly excited to bring ‘Art Off the Rails’ back to North Bend for another successful year,” said Debra Landers, event coordinator for North Bend Art and Industry. “It was a fantastic opportunity for our community to engage with art in a meaningful way, support talented artists and simply enjoy a Northwest day, surrounded by creativity.”
Art Off the Rails is planned in collaboration with the NW Railway Museum and the Snoqualmie Art Commission. Creative opportunities were found in three locations (Snoqualmie, North Bend and the Historic Railway Campus). These were linked by the railway to create this Snoqualmie Valley art festival.
