Adventure Sport Festival enlivening North Bend on Sept. 7

North Bend hosts the Adventure Sport Festival, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, in downtown North Bend. The event happens in conjunction with the Iron Horse Relay and the new Mount Si Run, and includes events and activities for all ages.

North Bend hosts the Adventure Sport Festival, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, in downtown North Bend. The event happens in conjunction with the Iron Horse Relay and the new Mount Si Run, and includes events and activities for all ages.

Mountain Meadow Stables is hosting an equestrian show; Mt Si Fitness is hosting Zumba; Snoqualmie Valley Unicycling Club is hosting a demo; Compass Outdoor Adventure shows off geocaching, Singletrack Cycles is sponsoring the Iron Horse Relay; Pro Ski is putting together the Mount Si Run; Mt Si Gymnastics is hosting parkour; North Bend Bar and Grill will be serving up brats; John Day Homes is sponsoring a zip line.

The Iron Horse Relay starts at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Teams in a relay format and Solo racers attack 70 miles of  paddling, riding and running from Keechelus Lake to North Bend  in the Washington Cascades. Sign up at: www.ironhorserelay.com
