What’s with all the potholes?

Array

I am a resident of historic Snoqualmie who has lived in the Valley my whole life. I have to say, that the roads here on Cedar Street are in dismal condition. The potholes are so bad it makes you feel like you’re driving into a ditch every time you roll over one. The middle of our road is nothing but one big mesh of smaller holes.

Every morning, the school buses go out to pick up the students for school and every single one of those buses rolls over the exact same spot on the road four times a day. The roads aren’t built to handle that kind of constant pressure. That the city has done nothing to fix it. We apparently have enough time and money to build a community center that’s been voted down twice and a City Hall, but not take care of our own roads.

I like living in historic Snoqualmie, and would like my part of the city maintained, too.
