No sign of Rossi at ‘March for Life’ | Letter

The spirited crowd that showed up to support the “March for Life” in North Bend blew me away. It was students, teachers and parents saying “never again” demanding long overdue legislation to restore gun safety today for safe schools tomorrow.

Jason Rittereiser and Dr. Kim Schrier, Democrat candidates for Congress to replace retiring Dave Reichert, were among the politicians there to support the students.

So where was Republican candidate Dino Rossi competing for the same seat? No doubt he’ll have an excuse. But one can’t help thinking he is still owned by the NRA after their $400,000 contribution supporting his losing campaign for a seat in the U. S. Senate in 2010. He ‘s showing no sign he’ll turn down their support this year.
