The second Annual Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation Phonathon was held at Twin Falls Middle School on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 13 and 14. Thank you to everyone who donated while talking to students on those evenings, and to those of you who have either mailed us your checks or donated on our Web site, SVSFoundation.org. Your support encourages and motivates us as the Foundation continues its mission to assure opportunities and encourage excellence. We wish to acknowledge and thank the following, whose contributions helped ensure the success of this event: Pia Larson, for creating the poster; Lauren Carroll, for printing the posters; Jeff Hogan, who set up the phone bank; staff at Twin Fall Middle School for the use of their phones, and library; Elaine Marie Kugen, for support and signing thank you letters; Andrew Rapin, for support and signing thank you letters; Kevin Knowles, for support and signing thank you letters; Sahara Pizza in Snoqualmie, for providing delicious pizza, salad, and pop for all the volunteers both nights and for donating a pizza to each student volunteer; Huxdotter Coffee, for providing a free drink coupon to each student volunteer; Emerald City Smoothie in North Bend, for providing a coupon to each student volunteer; Scott’s Dairy Freeze, for providing a free ice cream cone coupon to each student volunteer.
