Disappointed in YMCA decision

I’m very disappointed in the leaders in Snoqualmie. The idea of a community center has been voted down a couple times. This seems just like Obamacare. “Forget what the people want. We’ll do what we want.”

And another thing, Snoqualmie already has a community center. It’s called Si View and it’s in North Bend. Many people throughout the Valley have enjoyed this facility for many years. It even has a full basketball court and swimming pool. Imagine that!

If Ridge residents want to be a part of the Snoqualmie Valley, they can support Si View. What makes them so special to deserve a center? They can drive to North Bend like the rest of us. The Ridge has already taken our library, fire department and police station. What else do they want?

I urge all Snoqualmie residences to remember this during the next election. We need leaders who will do the “will of the people.”
