C’mon, enjoy the music

Array

I actually enjoy the concerts. I live in the Williams addition, and we get the songs full bore. I sat listening to the Beach Boys the other night with pleasure. In fact, my husband and I argued a bit if it was really them. This isn’t a big deal.

Granted, we have two-inch windows, thanks to ol’ Dutch Crawford, but hey, I can turn it off or on. They close at 10 p.m., it’s no biggy on my part. If I don’t want to hear it, I just close the windows on that side of the house. But… being hit by the recession, I can’t afford tickets, especially to Peter Frampton, an idol from way back. So I plan on sitting on my porch, soaking in the music and having a lovely evening. We have so darned many other issues facing the Valley right now, this just seems a bit silly. Being just out of city limits, I can’t vote for everything that affects us. But c’mon, smile, enjoy the music!
