What a nice gesture on the part of so many Valley folks, plus Swedish Hospital Medical Center, to provide emergency kits for those of us who, though we might like to deny it, are eligible to be considered seniors!

Fortunately, the weather so far hasn’t been so bad that we’ve had to remain homebound. Even today was great. There were 18 of us exercising in senior center multipurpose room, and another group usually follows us, too.

The items I received are reposing in a cupboard here at home until needed — next year? When February is finished, I’ll be donating the non-perishables to the food bank at North Bend Community Church. One never knows when someone might need assistance.
