During the past ten years, I have had an opportunity to work with both Terry Sorenson and Councilmember Maria Henriksen. While I respect Terry’s genuine passion and concern for the city, Maria offers Snoqualmie voters the best choice for council position 5. During her six years of service, Maria has proven herself to be an effective and influential leader on the council. While serving as mayor pro-tem for two years, she constructively worked with the administration to address and correct structural problems in the operational budget. She also helped forge a productive and cooperative working environment within a council comprised of both historic downtown and Ridge residents. Maria’s strong management and business background have proven to be an invaluable asset. I am grateful that she is willing to continue her service.
