SnoValley Chamber hosting Aspire Gala fundraiser, auction

Proceeds will benefit the chamber’s sustainable tourism efforts and more.

The SnoValley Chamber of Commerce’s upcoming gala will raise funds for its variety of projects, including efforts to implement sustainable tourism.

The Aspire Gala fundraiser, Oct. 23, will be held in the new Grand Ballroom at the Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel. The evening will include dinner, drinks, a DJ and an auction for up to 300 guests.

The chamber’s fundraising goal for the event is $120,000. These funds will go toward the general success of the chamber, as the chamber grapples with the loss of some grant funding due to state cuts this year.

“We have no other way of fundraising. We have to do this,” chamber CEO Kelly Coughlin said.

But Coughlin said the gala is also a “thank you” to the community for its participation in the chamber’s sustainable tourism initiative this year.

The Snoqualmie Valley was chosen as the subject of State of Washington Tourism’s 2025 Rural Tourism Support Program, which includes $30,000 in grant funding. In a series of workshops from January-March, the chamber collected ideas and input from the community that will instruct upcoming tourism projects.

“We’re trying to be very good stewards of our area,” Coughlin said. “[The gala] is a celebration to be able to tell everyone of all the accomplishments that we’ve made so far.”

Supporting the chamber ultimately supports its member businesses across the Valley, Coughlin said, noting that local businesses are stronger together.

“Coming to this is a pretty big deal to show support, for one, help us with the funding and know that everything we’ve done has been done for the Valley,” she said. “It’s not just one business, it’s the entire Valley.”
