Money magazine announced its 2015 list of “Best Places to Live in America.” Snoqualmie made the list at number five.

Magazine staff looked for places with the optimal combinations of job growth, economic opportunity, affordable housing, good schools, health care, and safety.

Apex, N.C. topped the list for its high-tech, high-pay job scene and small-town Southern vibe.

The city has a population of 42,150 and a local unemployment rate of 3.9 percent.

3. Sharon, MA

4. Louisville, CO

5. Snoqualmie, WA

6. Sherwood, OR

7. Chanhassen, MN

8. Coppell, TX

9. Simsbury, CT

10. Solon, OH
