They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but until just recently there weren’t many places to go in Snoqualmie to get a home-style breakfast. Ron Willmorth and April Stewart wanted to change that so in early December, they opened the Eagle’s Nest Cafe, an affordable spot for breakfast and lunch.

“We’ve always wanted to supply that amenity to the community, so finally we got a chance and we were able to open up a restaurant,” Willmorth said.

The Eagle’s Nest name comes from the cafe’s rather unlikely location, right inside Snoqualmie’s own Sno-Valley Eagles Hall.

An Eagle’s member himself, Willmorth knew that the club had a large dining room and kitchen that were really only utilized once a week. Willmorth approached the club with the idea, and before long all the arrangements were worked out.

Since the cafe’s business hours are entirely different from the club’s – and since they serve no alcohol – the Eagle’s Nest is open to the public at large from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and on Sundays from 8 a.m. to noon.
