As part of its pursuit of parking improvements, Si View Metropolitan Park District has received a rating of “AA” from Standard and Poor’s national rating agency.

Si View sought the rating as part of issuing bonds for the plaza. The rank makes Si View one of the highest rated park districts in the state.

“This is a great accomplishment for the district and the taxpayers of the district,” Si View Executive Director Travis Stombaugh said. “This excellent bond rating grade reflects that the district is very well-managed and has excellent financial policies and practices for the benefit of our citizens.”

“This is a big deal,” added Commissioner Susan Kelly.

The Limited Tax General Obligation Bonds will be underwritten by Martin Nelson & Company, a Washington investment bankin
