Motion Water Sports has begun construction on a state-of-the-art 135,000 square foot office/distribution center located in the Snoqualmie Ridge Business Park.

The new facility will consist of 18,000 square feet of office space and will become the new headquarters for two of the company’s affiliated water sports brands, O’Brien and HO Sports. The warehouse portion, at approximately 117,000 square feet, will serve as the main distribution center for HO, as well as Liquid Force and Connelly/CWB, two other affiliated water sports brands.

HO, O’Brien, and the Liquid Force distribution centers are relocating from Redmond, Washington, while the Connelly/CWB distribution center is relocating from Poulsbo, Washington. More than 75 jobs will be relocating to Snoqualmie.

According to John Archer, President of Motion Water Sports, “We started researching the purchase or lease of existing buildings in the greater Seattle area over a year ago in order to consolidate our operations. When we came across the property at Snoqualmie Ridge, we realized what a perfect opportunity it was to build from the ground up. Not only was the decision made from an economic point of view; we also fell in love with the city and its beautiful surroundings. We are looking forward to becoming part of the Snoqualmie business community.”

Motion Water Sports expects to complete the building project in late October of this year.
