The new Snoqualmie Ridge Chiropractic Clinic will open in June at the Gateway Business Center, bringing specialized chiropractic and massage care to the neighborhood.

“Our newest clinic offers the same quality care that we have always provided to our patients,” said Dr. Ken Lichtenwalter, CEO of Your Neighborhood Healthcare Center LLP and owner of Klahanie Chiropractic on the Issaquah Plateau.

With nearly three decades of experience of his own, as well as partner Dr. Ben Britton’s 13 years of experience, Lichtenwalter said he is making Snoqualmie Ridge one of the most prepared chiropractic clinics on the Eastside.

Dr. Steve Gootkind, with 14 years experience as a chiropractor, will round out the team.

“For residents of the SnoValley area who have experienced an injury to their neck, back, shoulder, knee or foot, there is an alternative,” said Britton, who lives on the Ridge with his wife and children.

“Often headaches, tingling sensations and sciatica can be attributed to skeletal misalignment,” he said. “We approach the entire body’s balance and alignment and can offer relief from acute as well as chronic conditions.”

Aiming to provide one-stop health care services, Snoqualmie Ridge Chiropractic’s clinic includes a sophisticated digital x-ray machine, comprehensive examinations, standard chiropractic treatments including low-force and non-force techniques, therapeutic massage, flexion distraction disk treatment, cold laser light therapy and a hydronic relaxation table.

All new patients are taken through orthopedic, neurological and chiropractic diagnostic tests, so that Snoqualmie Ridge Chiropractic’s team can accurately analyze the areas of concern or diagnose a problem. If treatment is required, the clinic’s staff can make corrections with skill.

Julie Johnson, a licensed massage therapist, will serve as the on-site massage practitioner. Johnson has been working with Klahanie Chiropractic’s LMP, Daniel Ruiz. She is currently contracted with Regence Blue Shield and is working to be contract-approved by other insurance companies.

The Snoqualmie Ridge facility is located at 8026 Douglas Ave., Suite 102 next to the Gateway Shell station.
