Kimball Creek Village, a three-building, 30,000-square-foot new retail village, makes room for dozens of new businesses on the east slope of Snoqualmie Ridge.

The first of these opened about a week ago, at 7328 Better Way S.E.

“We’re hoping to draw a lot more retail down the hill,” said property manager Jennifer Laviola of Pallis Properties Inc.

Kimball Creek includes two, 7,000-square foot retail buildings, as well as a two-story, 16,000-square-foot professional and retail building. Retail spaces, which start at 950 square feet, are still available in the retail village, and the entire professional building is available as well.

“The way it’s set up, it could be just about anything,” said Andy Leinweber, foreman for GLY Construction of Belluvue, who worked on the project.

Kimball Creek is the latest Snoqualmie business area to embody the ‘village’ approach.

The area just down the hill from the business is slated to become townhouses over the next few years, Laviola said.
