Girls’ Night In set at Curves

Curves of North Bend is opening its doors to the women of the community for an event raising awareness about breast cancer.

Curves is showing a video presentation featuring Olivia Newton-John, Curves founder Diane Heavin breast cancer surgeon Dr. Ernie Bodai, in an informal and educational message. The fitness chain is helping women exercise good breast health through a partnership with Newton-John and the Liv Aid, a breast self-exam tool to help women detect cancer early.

In addition to Newton-John’s video message, The Curves of North Bend Girl’s Night In event will feature a silent auction, food and prizes.

Girl’s Night In is open to members and non-members alike and will include a variety of ways for attendees to obtain free and discounted Liv Aids.

“Girl’s Night In is going to be a fun, educational community event — one that you’re going to want to bring all your girlfriends to,” said Sherry Saucedo, owner of Curves of North Bend.

“We’ll be able to show women how the Liv Aid works and talk about how maintaining a healthy weight through diet and exercise can significantly decrease cancer risk.”

Curves is located at 249 Main Ave. S., North Bend. For more information, call (425) 888-5290.
