Open house set

Snoqualmie Ridge Family Dental is holding an open house, 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, at their location, 7719 Center Blvd S.E.

A ribbon cutting ceremony is 5:30 p.m.; the event also includes hors d’oeuvres and beverages.

The open house gives residents a chance to meet Dr. Susan Robins, associate Erik Anderson and the rest of the staff.

Dressbarn holds cancer fundraiser

Dressbarn, one of the Factory Stores at North Bend, will contribute profits this October from the sale of Chloe, a plush toy dog, to the American Cancer Society’s local and national breast cancer initiatives, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Chloe will retail for $5, and Dressbarn will donate a minimum of $2.50 from the sale of each dog to the American Cancer Society, targeting breast cancer research. Dressbarn will be selling Chloe through Dec. 15, or while supplies last.
