One of the largest Rie Munoz collections anywhere has moved to North Bend after 25-plus years of business in Seattle, Port Townsend, Shoreline and Port Ludlow. Eagle Tree Gallery, which handles a complete selection of Munoz’s newer pieces, DVDs, posters, books and art cards plus a wide array of the older, harder to find limited editions and silkscreens, will be merging with Nteriors Framing in Mountain Valley Center at 458, S.W. Mount Si Blvd. No. B-5, in North Bend.

Munoz is one of the most popular and sought after artists in the country. Her artwork is unique with a refreshing style all its own. The watercolor paintings are whimsical, with a sense of humor about the day-to-day activities of Alaska village life. Munoz has lived in a variety of small Alaskan communities and the wealth of experiences inspires her to create her paintings.

At the gallery’s grand opening earlier this month three new issues by Munoz were made available to collectors. Munoz’s reproductions and original prints are carried by galleries nationally and worldwide. She has had many Northwest solo exhibits, including one at the Charles and Emma Frye Museum in Seattle.
