Growing Things Farm, located in the Snoqualmie Agricultural Production District near Carnation, is the winner of King County’s 2013 Rural Small Business of the Year award.

The farm was the only Valley finalist in the third-annual countywide Small Business Awards. Nominations were made from May through July. More than 100 nominees were narrowed down to three finalists in each of seven award categories. To qualify, businesses must have 50 employees or less and been in business for at least three years.
