Insurance agency opens in North Bend

Doug Carr has opened a branch office of Carriage Insurance Agency Inc. in North Bend. Carriage Insurance is an independent insurance agency that, for more than 30 years, has been providing insurance products for families and businesses. It represents many of Washington’s finest insurance companies. The office will is located at 301 Bendigo Blvd. N.

Chamber plans ‘monster’ auction

Community members are invited by the Snoqualmie Valley Chamber of Commerce to its second annual “Monster Mystery Madness Auction,” featuring potluck provided by the chamber’s board of directors, and a chance to bid on many items at both a silent and live auction. The event will take place from 5:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26 at the Benson Barn located at 14120 424th Ave. S.E. in North Bend. Tickets are available at the door for $10 per person. No minors will be allowed at this event. All proceeds support the programs and services of the chamber.

Auction items will include gift baskets, dining certificates, golf packages, gift certificates for local services and more. An event flyer and complete donation list is available on the chamber’s Web site at www.snovalley.org. Spooky costumes are optional.
