King County Library System receives grant to develop a climate action plan

The National Endowment for the Humanities gave a $133,252 grant to help develop climate initiatives.

This project aimed to repave the northeast and southwest Snoqualmie Parkway lanes as well as tend to street lighting, ramps, striping and traffic signal systems throughout the 3.5-mile long roadway and other related right-of-way assets. The parkway rehabilitation project is funded entirely by the state dollars awarded to the city by the 2022 Move Ahead Washington Transportation Package.
