Mount Si’s track season opened under rainy skies last Thursday, March 25, at Mount Si High School, and for the Wildcats, it was a split showing against their opponents, the Issaquah Eagles.
The Mount Si Wildcats softball team went to the Washington Fastpitch Festival at the University of Washington in Seattle last Saturday, March 27, with the hope their first time in this showcase event would be a memorable one. But offensive miscues ended up costing Mount Si at critical times in the game, and the Wildcats dropped their second contest in the last three.

Fall City resident Alex Duffy, a junior who runs for Seattle’s O’Dea High School, finished 16th in the event, held Dec. 12 in Reno, Nev. He ran in cold and snowy conditions and clocked a time of 16:48, a little under a minute behind the race winner.
