    The Mount Si girls’ soccer team had a solid week, but one dampened by another costly loss.
    The Wildcats opened their efforts last Monday, Sept. 29, with a tight 1-0 win over the Interlake Saints. Senior forward Nikki Stanton scored the game’s lone goal in the 12th minute for Mount Si, then it was hang-on time for the defense, as the Wildcats shut down the Saints the rest of the way to take the victory.
