It might have been a private office park with dramatic views for the tenants. Instead, Snoqualmie Point Park will be dedicated to the public Saturday, Oct. 27, as a visitor attraction site in the 100-mile Mountains to Sound Greenway along Interstate 90.

Speakers at the dedication will include public and private leaders who helped create the park including Sen. Slade Gorton, Greenway Trust President Jim Ellis, State Rep. Fred Jarrett and philanthropist Bill Gates Sr. Snoqualmie Mayor Matt Larson will host the opening ceremony.

The event begins at 9:30 a.m. at the park located at the end of Winery Road near I-90’s Exit 27.
