It is with much sorrow that the Olson family announce the passing of the infamous “Big Lar” on October 21, 2025. He was 82. A celebration of life is being held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 1pm at the Sno. Valley Eagles Club #3529, located at 8200 Railroad Ave. in Snoqualmie. All are invited to attend, break bread, hear the reading of his full obituary, share your own stories, lift your glasses and toast to a life well lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting you be like Larry instead – generously do something for a person in need; help a neighbor who is struggling or unable to do a home repair or mow their lawn; volunteer in your community or assist with the local youth sports clubs – and do so without seeking payment, being boastful, wanting recognition, or anything else in return because that’s what Lar did, and that’s how he lived his life.
