Arete Coffee Bar had a long-awaited ribbon-cutting ceremony for its second North Bend location Sept. 12.
Arete opened its second location at The Line Bike Experience, 1130 E. North Bend Way, in January. Its first location, at Pro Ski and Mountain Service, 112 W. 2nd St., opened in 2022. The coffee bar’s owners, Meghan and David Schumacher, also own Freestone Collective in Snoqualmie.
“We’re happy to be here, and we wouldn’t be still in business without all the support from the community,” David said at the ribbon-cutting. “Everyone here is why it happens and why we’re still still going and still serving lattes and breakfast sandwiches.”
