I’m not a business owner in downtown North Bend but if I were, I certainly would not want the medians on North Bend Way taken out.

First of all, they slow down traffic (at least they slow me down), they look good and they add something to the town that upper North Bend Way does not have (near QFC).

I would like to attend the City Council meeting on July 19 but can’t. Please count my voice by keeping the medians in place. Don’t forget … it’ll cost us an estimated $21,800 just to take these out. That’s crazy.

Leave the medians in place. They look good and slow traffic, which in turn should drive traffic straight to the shops on North Bend Way. Let’s not become just another town that looks like every other town. It’s not broken … don’t try and fix it!
