Fall City Days funds projects Grants go out to Valley groups

Fall City Days organizers are giving out $10,460 in donations to the community from proceeds from the 2008 festival and fun run.

The Fall City Days Committee is donating $4,500, while the Fall City Days Fun Run is giving nearly $6,000 in donations.

Fun run donations include: $3,115 for Make A Wish Foundation, $300 for Snoqualmie Valley Track, $10 to Mount Si High School volleyball, $60 to Mount Si High School National Honor Society, $30 to Mount Si softball, $30 to the Mount Si Class of 2009, $130 to the Class of 2010, $10 to Mount Si Key Club, $160 to Mount Si Cheer, $250 to Mount Si PTSA, and $1,865 to projects at Chief Kanim Middle School.

Fall City Days Committee donations included $200 to the Fall City Food pantry, $400 to Boy Scout Troop 425, $300 to Friends of Youth, $600 to the Chief Kanim Middle School camera fund, $1,500 for projects at Fall City Elementary School and $1,500 for projects at Chief Kanim.
