Born October 14, 1978 to parents Maurice Doerfler and Ann Whitaker Doerfler, Ethan grew up in Snoqualmie, graduating from Mt. Si High School in 1997. He loved everything sports and enjoyed playing soccer, baseball and hockey. He served his country in the U.S. Army’s 1st Armored Division and was a combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He received an Honorable Discharge in 2005 and returned home. Ethan enjoyed carpentry, reading and spending time with family.
