Blotter: Man in hospital gown hits head in motel parking lot; woman breaks arm in bicycle accident

Saturday, June 4

Mischief: At 10:17 a.m., a business in the 7300 block of Better Way Loop, Snoqualmie, reported some overnight vandalism. Someone damaged a public bathroom and stole elements from the water-heater fixtures. The business had video of the incident.

Theft: At 5:45 p.m., a caller at a parking lot in the 7700 block of Center Boulevard, Snoqualmie, reported that someone had stolen his wallet from inside his car while he was returning his shopping cart.

Sunday, June 5

In and out: At 1:59 p.m., police were called to a business in the 14600 block of 468th Ave. S.E., North Bend, for a report of an injured man wearing nothing but a hospital gown in the parking lot. The caller said she had been checking on the man’s mother when she saw the man, with an injury to the back of his head, in the parking lot. Police contacted the subject who was intoxicated and had hit his head in a fall. He was transported to an area hospital.

Monday, June 6

Bees: At 12:52 p.m., police were called to a property on 384th Avenue S.E., Snoqualmie, for a report of a man releasing bees in the area. The caller said the police had been called last week for the same problem. An officer spoke with the subject, warning him not to release bees in residential areas.

Wednesday, June 8

Theft: At 7:52 p.m., a caller at the Snoqualmie Library reported the theft of a red specialized mountain bike, at an estimated value of $500.

Thursday, June 9

Trespassing: At 9:08 a.m., an employee of the truck stop in North Bend asked police to remove a man who was soliciting people for gas money. The man was traveling in a dark van with an Oregon license plate. An officer contacted the subject and told him to leave.

Friday, June 10

Bear: At 8:21 p.m., a caller reported seeing a black bear in the area of S.E. Jacobia Street and Snoqualmie Parkway. The bear was not aggressive.

Thursday, June 9

Dog bite: At 8:56 a.m., Fall City firefighters responded to the 4300 block of 341 Avenue S.E. to assist a 64-year-old man who’d been bitten by a dog. They transported the patient to a local hospital.

Friday, June 10

Fall: At 4:31 a.m., the department was called to the 36500 block of S.E. 27 Street to assist a 73-year-old woman who’d fallen and injured her hip. She was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

Racing heart: At 8:08 a.m., a 55-year-old man came to the Fall City station because he was experiencing a rapid heart rate. Bellevue paramedics evaluated the man and transported him to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Unconscious: At 1:36 p.m., Fall City firefighters, Snoqualmie firefighters and Bellevue paramedics responded to the 7400 block of Lake Alice Road S.E. to see a 52-year-old woman who was reported to be unconscious and unresponsive. They initiated CPR and transported her to a local hospital.

Saturday, June 11

Breathing trouble: At 4:15 p.m., firefighters responded to the 35000 block of David Powell Road to see a 90-year-old woman who was short of breath. She was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

Choking: At 6:46 p.m., Fall City firefighters, Snoqualmie firefighters and Bellevue paramedics responded to the 34500 block of Fall City-Snoqualmie Road to see a 28-year-old man who was reported to be unconscious and unresponsive, possibly choking. The man was transported to a local hospital.

Sunday, June 12

Fall: At 8:50 a.m., firefighters responded to the 31700 block of S.E. 40th Street to assist an 86-year-old man who had fallen. He was transported to a local hospital by private ambulance.

Broken arm: At 1:34 p.m., the department responded to the 26700 block of S.E. Issaquah-Fall City Road to see a 28-year-old woman who broke her arm in a bicycle accident. She was evaluated by firefighters and transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Monday, June 13

Tree down: At 1:03 p.m., Fall City firefighters were called to Preston for a tree on the roadway. They cut up the tree and moved it to the shoulder.

Accident: At 5:34 p.m., firefighters responded to the intersection of 334th Avenue S.E. and Preston-Fall City Road for a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident. Two patients were evaluated and one was transported to a local hospital by private ambulance.

Monday, June 13

Alarm: At 4:05 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched to an automatic fire alarm on Better Way. A toddler in a day care facility had pulled the alarm. The crew silenced and reset the alarm.

Tuesday, June 14

Alarm: At 8:26 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to an alarm on S.E. Kinsey Street. The alarm was set off by construction workers creating sheet rock dust. The crew advised them to cover the detectors and reset the fire alarm.

Wednesday, June 15

Alarm: At 1:55 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched to an automatic fire alarm on Fairway Avenue. The crew arrived and found a malfunctioning alarm panel.

Medical aid: In addition, Snoqualmie EMTs responded to 16 medical aid incidents, bringing the total number of calls to 478.
