Riverview golf tournament registration now open

The Riverview Education Foundation’s 18th annual golf tournament, the REF Golf Classic, will be held at The Blue Heron Golf Course in Carnation this year.

Golfers will play 18 holes for chances to win prizes while supporting the Riverview School District.

The tournament begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday Oct. 1, at The Blue Heron Golf Course located at 1810 West Snoqualmie River Road N.E. in Carnation.

In addition to the tournament play, the Riverview Education Foundation will host games to challenge any level of golfer, followed by a post-tournament awards banquet.

There will be a hole-in-one contest and every golfer will receive gifts, donated by the event’s sponsors.

Registration is $125 per player until Sept. 18 when prices will increase to $140 per player. Riverview School District staff and students can register for a reduced price of $100. All ages can register.

Join individually or build a foursome of friends. All proceeds benefit the students of Riverview School District.

The tournament is a principal fundraiser for the Riverview Education Foundation, an independent non-profit organization, which raises money to support educational opportunities in the district.
