United Northwest Model Railroad Club, a Seattle-based volunteer group that promotes the hobby of model railroading, is bringing its unique model railroad to Railroad Days this weekend in Snoqualmie.

Trains will be running and volunteers will welcome visitors and questions, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the American Legion Post, 38625 S.E. River St., Snoqualmie.

New members are welcome. The club meets on the first Monday of the month at Galaxy Hobbies in Lynwood at 7 p.m. To join, send an email message to info@unwclub.org.

Additional shows on the club’s schedule include the Lynden Lions Show, Oct. 1 and 2 in Lynden; the Great Train Expo, Nov. 12 and 13 in Puyallup and Pacific Science Center, Jan. 14 to 16 in Seattle.
